  • Arrival. If required we can provide a meet and greet service for USD 30 to 35 depending on arrival date and time.
  • HIre Car. Car hire for your stay can be organised if required; a minimum of 14 days notice is required for best rates to be negotiated.
  • Route to Eden Island Development from airport. Take a taxi (around SCR300 on meter) or if in hire car, head north along east coast highway (right out of airport); at the second roundabout turn right over the Eden Island Bridge to cross into Eden Island. Continue straight past the small roundabout to Eden Island Mall for around 50 m and bear left through the barrier to the Village Management Association Reception Area.
  • Check in Procedure. On arrival at Eden Island you will be met at the VMA reception area either by the owners or a representative and transported via golf cart buggy to the apartment. Keys for the apartment and buggy will be handed over with instructions as to usage of the buggy and appliances if necessary.
  • Use of Beaches and Facilities on Eden Island. For residents, all the facilities of Eden Island are at your disposal. These include all 4 beaches, 2 communal swimming pools, a fully equipped gym, childrens playgrounds and park areas.
  • Eden Island Mall. A fully stocked supermarket (SPAR from S Africa) is open most days in the mall. There are a variety of restaurants and coffee houses as well as a pharmacy, 2 banks with ATMs, a currency exchange booth where both local sim cards can be purchased. Various tours and fishing trips can also be organised from the Eden Island Mall area.
  • Shopping. Eden Island Mall is sufficient for all immediate needs but the STC hypermarket which is around 2km from Eden Island has a wide range of foodstuffs and other items usually somewhat cheaper in price. While most guest
  • Internet Connectivity.  There is no dedicated internet service in the apartment but a connection is available via a local sim card (Cable and Wireless) that can be purchased in the Eden Island Mall at the currency Exchange booth. If requested in advance a Cable and Wireless dongle can be provided at cost for use with a laptop computer rather than smart phone or sim card enabled tablet.
  • Transportation around Eden Island /Mahe. The electric golf cart is provided for use on Eden Island but must be driven by persons holding a valid driving license. The buggy cannot be taken off Eden Island. Taxis, which are now metered, are available outside the Eden Island Mall.
